At the beginning of the 1940s, the company Aplicaciones Farmacéuticas, S.A. was founded. (AFSA), a precursor company of Investigación Farmacéutica, S.A. of C. V. which was constituted on April 4th, 1965.

A 100% Mexican company, established in Mexico City and proudly recognized today as IfaCeltics®.

From 1982, the company had a great growth, generating birth and transfer to its new facilities established in the CIVAC
Industrial Park in Jiutepec, Morelos.

Business Unit

IfaCeltics® is made up of three outstanding business units:
Metabolic Health, focusing on the development and commercialization of specialized products for the treatment of overweight and obesity, Women’s Health, being pioneers in emergency contraception in Mexico and creating solutions for the contraception, reproduction and climacteric areas and, Mental Health, being the most recent therapeutic class, seeking to provide therapeutic options for the treatment of various diseases of the Central Nervous System.

Certifications

We have various certifications such as ISO 9001, obtained in 2003 and maintained uninterruptedly valid as of August 2024 in the ISO 9001-2015 version, which helped implement a company’s quality management system, standardizing the processes of all the areas; what prompted it to grow to have greater opportunities in the market. We have the current certificate of quot; Good Practices NOM-059″ granted by COFEPRIS, which guarantees that the products made in IfaCeltics® are safe and effective and that they comply with all the sanitary regulations of the country.
